The issue I encountered at this event was the opening act, Michael Franti and Spearhead. Their music was excessively loud, the Forum's sound system was subpar, with the Bass pounding and ringing in my ears throughout the concert, and the lead singer struggled to control his erratic voice and stay in tune. I wouldn't recommend Michael Franti or Spearhead to my friends; I found their performance redundant and overly long.
Ultimately, the highlight of the evening was Mr. Pizzarelli and his incredible musical talent, which made the experience enjoyable for me, leading to a 4-star rating rather than the exceptional 5 stars.
